I really have not had time to update anything on the site, and probably won't have time until the middle of next week. However, to keep you updated, here's the details for gdgt's New York launch party & meetup mixed from both the site and the Facebook event. And in case you don't know what gdgt is:
gdgt (like "gadget" -- or g-d-g-t) is a new kind of technology site -- a social gadget platform that enables you to connect with the community through your gadgets, and connect with your gadgets through the community. It's a place for you to engage with your devices and hang out with people who are as passionate about their gear as you are.
You ready to show off your have list and geek out on gadgets for an evening with team gdgt and ton of companies showing the freshest gear? Join us on Thursday, October 1st from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom (311 W 34th St, New York, NY 10001-2418) in New York for the gdgt East Coast launch party and meetup!
This event is free, all-ages, and open to the public, so bring a friend or three! First attendees will walk away with some great swag -- but everyone who shows is eligible to win some gear (and we've got plenty). We'll have all kinds of gadgets and demos from our awesome vendors:
