Verizon's Motorola Droid gets a release date of November 6 with a $200 price tag (after $100 mail in rebate). It's the first phone with Android 2.0 packed with specs and features:
- 3.7 inch capacitive widescreen touch screen
- Full QWERTY keyboard with D-pad
- 5MP camera with dual LED flash, auto focus, and video recording
- 16GB MicroSD included
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- Google Maps Navigation (Beta)
- Facebook contacts integration
I'll be switching from AT&T to Verizon so I'll hopefully be getting my hands on the Droid on release day. Be on the look out for hands on videos, demos, rants, raves, and reviews for the Droid and Android 2.0.
